The Royal Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, EnglandHere are some photos I took there using my erstwhile mobile phone. I've finally got round to reviewing these gardens - click here (Images may take a while to load if you're on a slow connection) Just wanted to get a different sort of photo here, and I think the result is quite good. Don't ask me what sort of plant this is though!
Don't ask me what this one is either.
Now those are trees, I'm pretty sure of it. An outside view.
Cotton growing.
This looked better in real life, wasn't able to really capture it here.
Qutie liked this sculpute of the birds.
Don't sit on cacti or you'll be sorry... oh no hang on, this was the prickly pear.
Another outside view, some sort of bandstand thingy in the background.
The flowers are like, orange, man...
They did a nice display here, I thought.
It took a while to get this shot without any of the surrounding schoolgirls!!
That bandstand again. This time it's the focus of the photo.
A White-Crested Laughing Thrush. I'm really happy with the way this photo came out.
And here are some photos my wife took...Hello...
Hello again...
Feeding time!
Who's a pretty bird then?
This peacock thought it owned the place...
There must be some food around here somewhere...
Now this is a Superb Starling. No really, that's its proper name...
That White-Crested Laughing Thrush again...
You daft bird, you can't eat that...
