Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End: Movie Trailers and InformationOverviewAt the end of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) was in the worst possible trouble... not just dead, but detained in Davy Jones' Locker. This third movie follows the efforts of Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), Elizabeth Swann (Keirra Knightly), and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) to get him back. Blocking their way are Davy Jones (Bill Nighey) and the evil Lord Beckett (Tom Hollander). Can they do it? Can they unite the nine pirate lords in the face of their complete extinction?Plenty of plot twists, action and humour, but this third movie really misses the sparkle of the first and even the second (which wasn't as good as the first). Required watching to find out what happens, but then it's a rather unsatisfying end. Still, an enjoyable romp with more good things than bad things about it, on the whole. InformationYear of Release: 2007Director: Gore Verbinski Rating: PG-13 for intense sequences of action/adventure violence and some frightening images. (UK rating 12A) The way seems paved for a fourth film... but after this I kind of hope they don't bother!
