A plot unfolds involving a new life form said to have been found on Mars, and the creator of the sentient life-form who is fashioned after his dead daughter, and the Mafia, who are more powerful on the future earth than ever, and with colonisation of other planets seemingly imminent, perhaps the whole solar system...
