Discworld Game Reviews

The Discworld games are based on the enormously successful Discworld novels created by Terry Pratchett, and while not among my favorite adventure games, they are still well worth playing. The first game is mind-blowingly difficult so I'd recommend a walkthrough; the second isn't so bad and I found it to be more fun than the first. The first two Discworld games star the inept wizard Rincewind as he travels in time, talks to dragons and suchlike, and generally tries not to be as inept as everyone thinks he is. Rincewind is voiced by Eric Idle in the games - if you can get the sound to work! In the third game you star as the Disc's first and very probably last Private Detective, and a very nice game presented in full 3D. For me this is easily the best of the three Discworld games.
