Any game that features a roller-skating barbarian at least deserves a look, and one made by the creator of Speed Thrasher doubly so. It's an extremely simple game, but as with most of Joe's games is amazingly playable. You are a barbarian, roller skating across 5 levels (seemingly across 5 time zones too), taking out all who stand in your path with your trusty sword and roller skates, collecting a flag, bringing it back, and if you can complete all 5 levels you are given the key to the city from a thankful mayor.

The graphics are simple but effective, the music suits the game well, and the game plays smoothly. There are only 2 keys used in this game - jump (up arrow) and swing sword (space bar). It's all about timing, there's not much depth to the gameplay but that doesn't matter. That's it really - not a great but but definitely a game to fill an odd few minutes when the mood takes you. Can you beat my high score of 2200?
