About A Boy: Movie Trailers and InformationOverviewAbout A Boy is a romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant, Toni Collette, Rachel Weisz, and Nicholas Holt. It features Will, a man living off royalties from a song he hates, and his life being turned upside down when a young boy named Marcus turns to him for help as his own life is so awful. Looking for love in the form of single mothers rather than respnsibility, Will is not too keen... but Marcus is persistent.About A Boy is a wonderful film, very funny and emotional in places (Toni Collette's character - Marcus' mother - struggles with depression and suicidal tendencies), the DVD release is let down by some uninteresting extras, but it's still well worth getting just for the film. Backed up by a great musical score from Badly Drawn Boy, this one is a real winner. (Trust me, it's a lot more fun than it sounds!)
